Another death

Of someone we know.  Daniel used to be picked up by a van driver and taken to his therapy appointments and to his group home activities. Each day it was the same driver, he was fairly nice as I recall...but that was years ago. We found out today that driver died of Covid. I won't pretend he was close to us, but he was a nice man and a member of our community....and he should still be here instead of in the morgue.

Masks

When all this started I began sewing masks every day. I have stopped sewing for now but will pick it up again I'm sure soon. What occurred to me today is that I have a fairly convincing small scale clinical trial of their effectiveness; I have worn them around 3 people who were infected (one of whom died) and I have continued to test negative for Covid over several tests. I guess that answered my question: Are my masks effective? They clearly are. Good to know!

Gratitude

My husband and stepson were vaccinated today and we got a new President and Vice President. I don't think Christmas can EVER compare with today. Doug and Dan both recovered quite well from Covid, and after consulting with their doc they were vaccinated today. Now we just need 1. Me 2. My mom 3. MIL Shirley 4. BIL Dale 5.Stepson Tim To be vaccinated and I can finally breathe....but today was definitely a reason to exhale

Negative and positive

Well...it happened. My husband and Dan both tested positive, Tim and I both tested negative. Doug is a huge ball of stress.
