Arbitrary Steps

 Despite the scheduling system online saying that I qualified for the vaccine, once I got there the pharmacist said no. Oddly there was no one there, so I wasn't taking anyone elses spot, they were just being a stickler for the rules. I feel like Charlie Brown and the football; Just missing after having it yanked away 

 I keep bouncing in my seat.  I am so anxious to get vaccinated....a little worried, but mainly anxious and excited.

 It's like the day before the first day of school, the day before a concert you are really excited to see.....because tomorrow at 12:30 I have an appointment to get my 1st vaccine shot! The next milestone after that will be March 24th, when I get my 2nd shot. 5 days to a week after that I AM FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, we still have to wear masks etc, but I won't have to worry that every cough is a sign I'm dying, I won't have to live in fear of colds. We have been in this house for pretty much a solid year, I am so looking forward to stepping out of our front door to a little more freedom

 Just thought this deserved a quick happy note

 My husband, stepson, brother in law, and my mother in law all have been vaccinated. I am still waiting. Not for not having tried, I check for available vaccines all the time. Shots are only given to those who are elderly or have major health issues, for now they say I *might* get the shot in March, about a month away. 485,000 have died just in the USA so far. I am counting my blessings that each day I am above the ground instead of below it. We tried, and soon we'll succeed
