I got my "Fauci Ouchie!"

  I got vaccinated at a pediatricians office. Zero waiting, no lines. How did I get so lucky? Well I have a fabulous primary care physcian who told me of a doctor who was giving vaccines to different eligibility groups. I called the doc 4 days ago and they put me on a waiting list. My husband came into the bathroom while I was showering and asked me "How would you like to be vaccinated TODAY?" and so we went to the office. It was a halfway painless shot and I didn't have any side effects until about 11pm. I started shaking uncontrollably and all my limbs were ice cold to the touch. My neck is still sore today from shivering so much. I just huddled in bed with a heated pad and blanket, today I feel 70% normal. It's almost over...our entire California family and about 1/3 to a half of my Washington family is vaccinated. I can feel HOPE! Sadly as I told my husband "You know what's sad? Options

 Now there aren't that many options if you are under 65 to be vaccinated. There are rules right now:   Individuals 65 and older Sector populations: Agriculture and food Education and childcare Emergency services   I don't fall into any of those. I am in my late 40's, a fairly normal weight, and I don't work outside the home. In short I am not allowed to get he shot yet, but reports are that on March 15th (10 days from now) they will finally allow people in my group to be vaccinated. We also have two back ups: one is a doctor who put me on their "wait list" (hey, I've ever even been offerred that!) or to stake out vaccination clinics. My doctor said they are willing to give me a note so I can get vaccinated sooner, so now I have to wait for Monday for that and then stake out vaccination clinic notices online, show up at one with the note in hand, and pray they take pity on me.
